Eating 4 meals a day to lose weight - YES PLZ! KleanLA for the WIN.

Hello hello!

So I know we said we wouldn't talk about 2016, BUT, at the end of the year I wasn't feeling so hot.

Like at all. Just puffy, a little thicker than I wanted to be, and my eating was real lackluster. 

I am still working on balancing my hormones (having an Almost 30 Podcast episode on that Tuesday!) and my weight's been a little of. So it's been 'one of those days' more often than not during the week.

Plus, you guys know, I hate cooking. I hate grocery shopping too. Maybe when I become a millionaire, I will love it so I can get all the $5 drinks I want, but now it's just so BLAH. I also feel like I don't have time in the day. Anyone with me? I truly use every minute of every hour to work, do something for Hundred, something for Almost 30, catching up with friends....

So a combination of hormone imbalance, and my laziness to prep healthy quality meals, has put my health on the back burner.

So when 2017 was coming, and I had my fill of Christmas cookies, and sugary treats from the holidays, I was SO READY to do this, health and eating wise.

My thoughts:

How can I make better decisions with my eating where I'm not taking a lot of time to cook and I don't need to think about it (because I don't have time).

Oh, and it also has to be vegan, and I'd love for it to be under 1700 calories a day.

Plus, it NEEDS to taste good, be organic, non-GMO and super FILLING.

Seems impossible right? 

Not with KleanLA.

I was over the moon when they reached out to work with Hundred Blog - excited to try one of the best food deliveries in LA, and really reset my diet. It's literally LIFE CHANGING.

With KleanLA each meal is around 300-400 calories, which keeps the daily total around 1350 calories which is (for me) way less than my normal 2000 calories. 

Oh and for a girl that's always hungry, eating 4 meals I was SO FULL.

Seriously. Most days, before KleanLA I would do my morning smoothie, eat a snack around 10:30, eat a lunch around 12, be hungry around 2:30, eat a snack, want to eat dinner at 5, then actually eat dinner around 6:30 - STARVING.

LOL.

So to be able to eat a breakfast, a meal at 11 AM, then again at 3 PM, and a dinner around 6 PM - all filling healthy, nourishing meals is a GAME CHANGER.

Can't even tell you. 

To tell a person that is trying to lose some extra love that they can eat 4 meals a day - is EVERYTHING.

Oh and let me tell you about the actual meals themselves. Because I would have NEVER made them at home.

How amazing does that food look? I kept getting surprised when I would eat the food. Like, okay I never thought of this flavor, this combination and I don't normally eat this, but I'm INTO IT!

I heated each one up because it tasted better warm (from my perspective) and put it on a plate so it felt so FANC-AY.

Again, the plan that I did with KleanLA was the 'Get Going' special. Like I said, its 4 meals a day, for 6 days. Totaling 24 total meals that are non-GMO, vegan, colorful, healthy, filling and nutrient dense.

You can also get non-vegan meals, no carb meals and meals for the family too!

Justin is going to try out the non-vegan ones, so he can eat more food during the day, without cooking/thinking about it. 

What I did with the 6 days of meals, was broke deliveries up into 3 days at a time, so that for two weeks, on Monday and Wednesday I had my meals arrive in their cooler safe packages at my door (the delivery was perfect).

If you can't tell already how much I love, then you must know, that physically, I feel so much better guys.

Lighter, more nourished, full of energy and I am taking a lot of the principles I learned with me. The main being that, you can eat SO MUCH healthy food and stay within a calorie limit. Lost a few lbs too but hey WHOSE COUNTING!

(me everyday).

Protein bars, shakes, butters, etc. can be so calorie dense that you're not eating a lot but you're getting in a shit load of calories. This really struck me that I'm having a full blown meal for the same amount  of calories as one of the protein bars I eat. Seems crazy right?

If you're not ready to do the full Get Going Special, you can do a day's worth of food, eat those 4 meals in a day, or even have two meals a day for two days.

Think about how much time you'll have if you're not thinking about what to eat for lunch or dinner.
