SHADY: Summer shade style inspo from ASOS

Honey's have you noticed the transition from big sunglasses to little sunglasses?

Well, it's happening. Small shades are IN, and I am trying my best to find flattering ones that fit my face.

So I found the best shades from my favorite, ASOS that I wanted to share with you as summer inspiration.

Summer Shade Trends:

Cat Eye

Super Small

Embellished Shapes

Tinted Lenses

Any sunglasses that I missed? I love ASOS because I can basically cover all the trends with ASOs because their sunglasses are not only on point but they're affordable.

Living my best life in my FAVORITE look EVER

Not much more I can say than the fact that this outfit actually makes me happy. Like in my core and so deeply. I am not one that usually wants go to straight to buying something to make me happy, but I forgot what it feels like to actually wear clothes that make me happy.

Most of what I have been wearing I honestly just throw on. I don't have much time to really plan outfits, get ready, or care about matching everything perfectly. I workout in the morning, go to work, work after work or do dinner, hang with J, so being picture perfect just isn't always in the cards for me as a big priority.

But when I was given the opportunity to work with Nicole Miller, I could not BELIEVE what's happening this season.

I mean, evil eyes? On this whole set? I sort of can't explain how me it is. Finding a look that makes me feel like my best self is LIFE.

I can't say more, but want to share the links as inspiration, and the notion that really being thoughtful about what you're wearing every once and a while can really give you that pep in your step and change how you bring your energy into a situation.

What's your favorite go-to feel good look?

Sending you love this week, hope you're surviving the mercury retrograde!

Why did I ever wear low rise jeans: MY NEW FAVORITES + jeans for your body type

Honestly though.

Why did I ever put myself through wearing low rise jeans? I think YES they look good on some people, like really good. But me, not so much, my body isn't a low rise jean body (whatever that means) and I realize now as I sit here typing with my jeans up near by bra line, how good it feels to relax my stomach and just...BE.

In my high-rise ultra flattering jeans.

Nothing better. Sucks you in, and you don't need to worry about your butt crack or thong hanging out (even though in High School I think that was the point sometimes...LOL.

So I wanted to share some of my tried and true high-rise jean favorites, so that you can save yourself the pain of trying to search and search and then overspend on your denim.

You can shop my new favorite high-waisted jeans here (from DL1961 Denim) and the rest of my look:

Finding Jeans for Your Body Type:

For me, I am more apple shaped (sexy I know) So, for apple shapes, your best rise of jeans is a higher waisted denim style that sits just at your natural waist. This style of jean helps me to visually focus on the legs,, while helping to cinch in that tummy.

If you're curvy all over with a smaller waist, you can wear a high-rise jean to showcase your booty and waist. To do this, look for a rise from 10" to 13" that hits above your natural waist. Then you can werk it all you want babes.

For boyish body types: your best in a distressed pair of low rise jeans, or for a crisp pair for work, any slim leg will work on you, so shop around to fill out your denim wardrobe and you'll be prepared for all occasions.

Shorter women (of any shape) can get a flattering effect by choosing jeans with a medium or slightly higher waistband. If you're a curvy petite, you'll look best in the higher mid-rise jeans.
